Sungate Energy Solutions will attempt to describe in a short and simple manner the basis and history of photovoltaic or photoelectric power. It’s a solar cell and its job is to convert the energy of light from the sun into cells are then grouped together to gather more energy from the sun into electricity. The process is photovoltaic. Solar cells are then grouped together to gather more energy from sunlight and these are called solar modules. Groups of modules are assembled together in one place is referred to in the solar industry as a solar panel. These panels are what you see usually placed on rooftops. Depending on the amount of energy needed determines how many panels are needed on a house or building.
The history of the use of solar energy goes back to ancient history. However, the photovoltaic process was first recognized by the French physicist, in 1839 by A.E. Becquerel. The actual term, photovoltaic, became titled in 1849. The first photovoltaic cell was not built until 1883 by Charles Fritts who used a thin layer of selenium and thin layer of gold to form the electric junctions. Another milestone was reached in 1921 when Albert Einstein explained the photoelectric effect and received the Nobel Prize in physics.
Since that time, the photovoltaic process has been refined and power has become less expensive to produce with different conductors found that are even more efficient. Sungate Energy Solutions knows the long history of solar energy means that hundreds of years in the development to modern man has led to a time when solar energy is no longer a dream, but a much needed reality. While many people in the United States believe that global warming is the results of burning fossil fuel, there are still many who believe that it’s simply a natural cause and effect process that the earth goes through every once in a while. However, most scientists disagree with that theory. They believe that there is a very human contribution to global warming and that human choices have been wrong and dangerous. Let’s face it. We have had rivers so loaded with pollution that they became rivers of fire. We have polar ice caps that are melting and weather patterns creating huge losses of life and destruction to entire cities. Hurricanes are on the increase and are more destructive than ever to more areas of the planet. Water will soon become the cause of wars as it becomes more scarce and polluted. Sungate Energy Solutions knows that we need to make changes to our life choices soon.
Greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere are absorbing radiation and the temperature of the earth is rising. We’ve cut down forests, increased the flow of carbon dioxide since the Industrial Revolution and we burn fossil fuel more than ever because more countries are becoming industrialized.
This can all come to a halt with changes that need to take place now. We can switch to clean and sustainable energy that will stop the production of carbon dioxide whether in our homes, businesses or transportation. Sungate Energy Solutions can help people produce their own electricity from solar energy and contribute to a cleaner planet with lower energy costs as well.
Sungate Energy Solutions has spent more than thirty years convincing people of the health risk regarding the burning of fossil fuel. There are other issues regarding what the combustion of fossil fuel how it relates to health risks. People who live in the city are living with a daily dose of smog pollution which contains noxious gasses.
One of the most serious of all of the bi-products of pollution is carbon monoxide. This is produced from fuel that is not burned completely. Carbon monoxide is very deadly and considered a huge health risk even in small amounts. Different types of engines contribute to certain amounts of emissions.
There are two types of internal combustion engines. Four stroke engines and it’s what is used in most of the cars on the road today. Two stroke engines are used in different applications such as snow mobiles and lawn mowers. These put out a large amount of carbon monoxide and are extremely dangerous to human health.
Sungate Energy Solutions is hoping that cars will become solar electric for their energy needs. Our air will be cleaner than gasoline fueled engines. With more homes and businesses using solar energy as a means of producing electricity, the future can be positive.

There are many things on the market today that allow for a decreased use of electricity and are powered by the sun. Here are some unusual items that are on the market today that Sungate Energy Solutions has seen around.
How about a solar house number light? There is a system available that uses the sun’s energy to light up a maximum of a five digit address and can be seen from up to five hundred feet away. There is no wiring or complex installation and as the sun goes down, it lights up automatically. This is great for everything from having a pizza delivered to something as serious as an ambulance finding the right address.
Have you ever had a rodent problem? Well, now there is no need to put traps or poisons around your home that are so unfriendly to the environment. There is a solar powered rodent repellent that emits sonic waves that cause the rodents to flee. Just one of these covers about forty five hundred square feet of area and is weatherproof. It operates totally on solar power with years of operation before it has to be replaced. Those lawn ruining gofers will have to go someplace else.
There are so many solar energy products available now from parked car ventilators to flashlights, radios and solar powered Christmas lights.
The most economical thing that you can do is to replace your current energy system which is based on fossil fuel and replace it with clean, renewable and inexpensive solar panels. We have been helping people make the switch to solar energy to help save our planet and to help families save on their costs to power their homes. For information as to how you can become a user of solar energy, please visit Sungate Energy Solutions.
Sungate Energy Solutions has been trying to change the power source of electricity for special reasons. The largest of all reasons is the effect that the burning of fossil fuel is having on climate change and the environment. March 2012 set heat records that concerned meteorologists throughout the world. It turned out to be the hottest month in the recorded past temperatures in the United States for the month of March. There were 15,272 daily high temperature records set with some places with temperatures of twenty to thirty degrees.
The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a rule to set additional limits to industrial climate pollution. The objective of this ruling is to set climate pollution standards and put an end to unhealthy energy as we know it. Of course, there are lobbyists on the other side who are determined to fight the Environmental Protection Agency. Whether or not a citizen sees dirty energy as a problem causing climate change, one has to simply look around to see the effects of noxious, greenhouse gasses released into the air constantly. The brown haze we look at over our cities isn’t the color of a rainbow. It’s a combination of water and carbon wastes.
Sungate Energy Solutions believes that by changing the way we look at our energy source and learning the real facts about the use of solar energy to power our homes and businesses, a real change to our future is possible.
If you compare the impact on the environment of the use of hydroelectric power for energy to other clean sources such as solar and wind. Hydroelectricity is hardly clean. The initial impact on the habitat due to damming of rivers flooding of low lands is an issue. However, this is not the only impact of the compromises to the environment. Sungate Energy Solutions is concerned about the methane produced by hydroelectricity. When organic matter beneath the water of the dam area begins to rot without oxygen because the matter is under water, the result is the production of methane. The methane is absorbed by the water which is insoluble. When this water passes through the turbines to create electricity, the methane is released into the air.
The goal of using alternative energy rather than fossil fuel based power is that no greenhouse gasses are released into the atmosphere. Wind and solar energy do not produce greenhouse gasses and are true energy alternatives. Hydroelectric power produces a significant amount of fossil fuel and we need to consider if this should be considered an alternative energy of the future.
Sungate Energy Solutions offers a true clean, renewable, and inexpensive option which is solar energy. This organization is made up of expert technicians to help citizens switch to a truly non-polluting form of sustainable energy – the sun. According to recently written studies, radioactive particles released during the nuclear plant meltdown in Japan were discovered in kelp along California’s coast from Laguna Beach north to Santa Cruz. Compared to measurements before the explosion, to those about a month after, radioactive iodine was found in the kelp. This study was done by two marine biologists from California State University in Long Beach. While Sungate Energy Solutions understands that the levels found were not overtly harmful to humans, the levels found after Chernobyl in British Columbia and Washington State were actually lower in 1986.
Giant kelp is a very good measurement tool for the study of radioactive material because the kelp is an accumulator of iodine. The highest levels were found in Corona Del Mar. Some researchers believe that the reason for that is the kelp in this area is affected by the run off of debris from the urban population that is nearby. The challenge with all of this is that the unknown factor is the sea life that is consumed by people which may have fed off of organisms that ate radioactive material near the kelp. Research will continue in order to come to conclusions regarding the meltdown of the nuclear energy plant on human life.
This entire situation is a great argument for clean, sustainable energy that leaves no dangerous impact to the planet as nuclear energy does. Solar energy provides all of the qualities that energy of the future should possess. It’s available, clean and inexpensive. Sungate Energy Solutions has been helping people make the switch to solar power for more than three decades with many happy consumers who have been happy with their decisions. If you would like to know more about how you can use solar power to generate electricity for your home, please visit Sungate Energy Solutions.
A large part of our trash is due to plastic waste. We use plastic every day in so many of the things that we do. Plastic is in everything from water bottles to pens. All of that comes from crude oil. By simplifying the process of producing reusable products, we can understand why it’s becoming crucial to find ways of recycling plastic products. Sungate Energy Solutions sees the easiest way to look at the process is by imagining a chain made up of small identical pieces of monomers based on Ethane. When the monomers form a chain, they become polymers.
Some plastics are thermoplastics and they become more pliable when heated. Plastic actually means something that is capable of being shaped or formed. These are better for recycling. Then there are the thermosetting polymers which are stronger and could be used as handles in cooking utensils. These are more difficult to recycle.
The question regarding plastics for our future is what we’re going to do with all of the plastic waste. Our oceans are so polluted from fossil fuel emissions that they are turning our oceans so acidic. As a result of that type of pollution, sea life is becoming greatly reduced. Add to the emissions, our oceans are filling up with plastic waste. Actually, there is a portion of the Pacific Ocean that has so much waste in it that isn’t biodegradable that an island as actually formed that is made of garbage. Just as the sun is a renewable form of energy, so are products we should be using in our lives every day. For information as to how you can lead a greener life, please visit the website of Sungate Energy Solutions. There are many suggestions on this website as to how you can help this planet and save money at the same time.
Sungate Energy Solutions would like to define what the direct effect of climate change means to our world. It is definitely causes more frequent heat waves and floods. Extreme temperatures, heavy rainfall, and expanding oceanic waters can also be tied to climate change from global warming. Climate change caused by increased use of fossil fuel is very real.
Indirect effects are diseases that will happen due to climate change on various biological systems like disease carrying organisms. A lot will depend on various ecosystems and their response to as well as adaptation to rising temperatures. Probably the coastal areas of Asia will be most challenged by climate changes and their effects on rising sea levels that will create more opportunities for injuries and illnesses. In urban areas of Asia, more than one billion people will be living on crowded coastal cities where the spread of infectious diseases will increase. Add to that the effects of global warming destroying the ability to grow food; the world is in serious trouble.
What is most challenging about this situation including photochemical oxidants influencing human disease is that with viable change and clean energy use, global warming trends can change for the good. Governments have to decide that human life is worth that much. Sungate Energy Solutions has been helping people switch to solar energy for more than thirty years. It’s a sustainable and clean energy source that after installation leaves no carbon footprints. The effect on the earth is positive and it’s a very inexpensive source of energy.
Another source of polluting fossil fuel is oil sands that are also known as tar sands. The process is similar to oil shale in that it needs to be dug out of the ground from the solid form that they are in and processed to squeeze out the oil. Sungate Energy Solutions will describe the process of obtaining the oil found in tar sands.
Tar sands are formed from lighter crude oil which moved from one locale to another from geological pressure. They are different in that way from other fossil fuels which are mined or drilled in the location in which they were formed. The element of interest in the oil sand is bitumen because this is what is separated from the sand to process it for oil. It’s less profitable than pumping oil from the ground because of the complex process that is needed to get to the oil. Solid oil sands are strip-mined cover a very large area and destroying land and wildlife. It also spews carbon dioxide into the air causing additional pollution including acid rain.
Sungate Energy Solutions believes that our future depends on the use of clean, renewable energy that can create electricity cheaply and without pollution. If you are interested in the solar energy products available to you, please visit Sungate Energy Solutions.
