The BP Gulf Oil Spill and the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill in Alaska are huge events and the destruction they caused makes many of us upset. Those stories made front page news, but what has happened more than half way around the world as a result? Have we learned anything? If the world cared, environmentalists believe that with huge restoration, the Niger Delta could be brought back to life. Some believe that aging pipes are the reason for this debacle and some believe that it’s caused by terrorists or thieves. Things must change no matter what the reason.
